Engineering Intern – Elwood, Kansas (Summer 2027)
About The Position
As a Summer 2027 Engineering Intern with Elanco Animal Health, you will be part of the Engineering team at our Elwood, Kansas manufacturing plant, contributing to a hands-on technical project focused on improving processes, solving business challenges, and supporting operational excellence. Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an Engineering major including (but not limited to) Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Process
- Experience in Microsoft Suites
- A willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Prior internship or professional experience in a life-science industry
- Have an interest in Engineering or Chemistry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must be able to work exceptionally well independently and with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Understand the manufacturing environment and how to collaborate with different stakeholders to solve problems
- Work within cross-functional teams to build vendor relationships and new process capability implementation
- Data visualization tool creation/usage and documentation updates
