About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to work with Engineers on the re-design and development of Mechanical, Electrical, Show, and/or Ride controls and software systems. Interns will gain knowledge in safety systems for Ride Controls, vendor interfacing, basic Project Management skills, and Electrical and Mechanical engineering fundamentals. The program is an in-person experience based in Orlando, with program dates approximately from January 2027 to April 2027. Applicants must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university with a graduation date later than April 2027.

Requirements

Basic AC/DC electrical knowledge, Autocad, Physics, Calculus, MS Office
In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
A transcript is required upon application.

Programming Skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred majors include: Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or similar.
Preferred coursework completed: Themed Entertainment, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.

Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, procedures, and records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
Perform and verify engineering calculations to support design, analysis, and implementation of systems in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
Plan, execute, and support factory acceptance tests to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance prior to delivery or installation.
Conduct and support site acceptance testing to confirm proper installation, integration, and operational performance at the customer site.
Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues during testing, commissioning, and operation, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to manage technical requirements, schedules, deliverables, and issue resolution.
Performs other duties as assigned.
