About The Position

This internship offers the opportunity to work with Engineers on basic re-design and development efforts for Mechanical, Electrical, Show, and/or Ride controls and software systems. Interns will gain knowledge in safety systems for Ride Controls, vendor interfacing, basic Project Management skills, and Electrical and Mechanical engineering fundamentals. This is an in-person internship based in Orlando.

Requirements

  • Basic AC/DC electrical knowledge
  • Autocad
  • Physics
  • Calculus
  • MS Office
  • In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution with current class standing of Junior or above.
  • Minimum cumulative 2.8 GPA is required.
  • A transcript is required upon application.
  • Interns must be currently pursuing a degree at an accredited university, and must have a graduation date later than April 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, reports, procedures, and records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform and verify engineering calculations to support design, analysis, and implementation of systems in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Plan, execute, and support factory acceptance tests to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance prior to delivery or installation.
  • Conduct and support site acceptance testing to confirm proper installation, integration, and operational performance at the customer site.
  • Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues during testing, commissioning, and operation, providing root cause analysis and corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to manage technical requirements, schedules, deliverables, and issue resolution.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
