Stantec's Energy practice has an opportunity for highly motivated Engineering Student Interns to join our team in Irvine or Pasadena, California to work on hydropower and dam projects. Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited Engineering program
• At least two years of college education and are within approximately two years of graduation
• Excellent analytical, organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Self-motivated
• Basic understanding of CAD drafting software (i.e., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Inventor, and/or Revit), and MS Office software

Nice To Haves

• At least a 3.0 GPA is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for a variety of design and ongoing construction projects, coordination with other engineering disciplines and CAD designers.
• Responsibilities will include review of construction submittals, design calculations and report preparation, product research and outreach, occasional site visits, and various project-related tasks.
