We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Engineering Coordinator to serve as the operational hub of our Control Panel Engineering department in Girard, Ohio. This role is critical to the efficient flow of jobs from receipt through final shipment and serves as the primary liaison between Control Panel Engineering and the rest of the organization. You will be responsible for managing our ERP system (SAP HANA) and supporting jobs as they move through the shop - from updating Bill of Materials (BOMs) to editing drawings in AutoCAD as needs arise. Working closely with the Control Panel Engineers, you will serve as a key resource for Production, Quality Control, and Customer Service, helping to keep jobs progressing smoothly and ensuring engineering documentation stays accurate throughout the process.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and roles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP systems; prior experience with SAP HANA strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering principles and engineering document standards.
  • Ability to learn new software tools quickly to support departmental needs.
  • Self-guided and active team player; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Technical Associate's Degree preferred but not required; relevant work experience will be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and communication bridge between Control Panel Engineering and all other departments; including Production, Quality Control (QC), Purchasing, and Customer Service.
  • Enter new jobs and sales orders into the Panel Dashboard system and maintain accurate, up-to-date records throughout the job lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with QC and Production teams to update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Drawings as projects evolve.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service to monitor job flow and communicate scheduling updates, ensuring customer commitments are met.
  • Perform all SAP HANA related tasks for the Control Panel Engineering department, including creating and maintaining parts, creating and updating BOMs, and running queries and reports.
  • Edit AutoCAD (LT or Electrical) drawings as needed under the direction of Control Panel Engineering and/or QC.
  • Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders, answering inquiries, supplying documentation as needed, and providing timely project status updates.
  • Provide administrative and technical backup support to the Panel team staff as needed.
