About The Position

This is an Engineering Co-op Student position for the September 2026 term, located in Whitehorse, Yukon. The role offers 8, 12, or 16-month terms with a salary of $24 - $36/hour, dependent on previous work-term experience. Relocation assistance will be provided. Requirements

• Must be enrolled in an Engineering co-op (or internship) program at a recognized Canadian university.
• Excellent computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing clearly and concisely, using appropriate technical vocabulary.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• System modelling (10% of time) using CYME for load flow and protection
• Engineering calculations (40% of time) including load checks, voltage drops, and microgen
• Planning studies (10% of time) for small projects and coordination
• Project support (25% of time) including closeouts and supporting EAs and engineers on large projects
• General tasks (15% of time)
