About The Position

Develops and implements Computer-Aided Design (CAD) methodologies, theories, and techniques while supporting the creation, verification, and maintenance of technical drawings and designs.

Requirements

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures.
• Ability to write business correspondence.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from peers, internal customers, and management.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret a wide variety of technical instructions presented in mathematical or diagram form and manage both abstract and concrete variables.
• Knowledge of design software and manufacturing software.
• One-year certificate from a college or technical school; or Three to six months of related experience and/or training; or An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Create construction elevations.
• Troubleshoot design and verification issues related to complex physical design workflows and tools.
• Train drafters in the completion of drawings and specifications.
• Perform checking of design layouts and detailed drawings, including selections, overlays, and construction details.
• Ensure drawings comply with applicable industry standards, codes, and company policies and procedures.
• Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
• Consult with senior peers on certain projects.
• Demonstrate moderate skill levels with a high degree of proficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
