About The Position

Great opportunity for professionals with a Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a closely related Bachelor's degree interested in working in the U.S. on a TN Visa. Only citizens of Canada and Mexico are eligible for the TN Visa program. The Engineer will be responsible for locating causes of poultry production and layer equipment malfunction, repairing broken parts, optimizing operations, use of equipment, and space within the buildings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agriculture Engineering, or a similar degree.
  • Intermediate English-speaking level or higher.
  • Must be a citizen of Canada or Mexico to be eligible for the TN Visa program.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to operate skid loader, tractor, forklift, Pick-up truck, and/or semi-tractor.

Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering knowledge to identify and troubleshoot processing issues in highly automated egg production equipment, including grading, washing, drying, candling, and robotic packing systems.
  • Conduct engineering analysis to diagnose equipment inaccuracies or malfunctions and resolve mechanical or electrical issues affecting production operations.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the installation of electrical and mechanical systems to improve production efficiency and operational output.
  • Perform Code 3 (C3) diagnostics and technical evaluations to determine root causes of equipment failures and recommend system modifications, repairs, or component replacements.
  • Investigate equipment failures and operational difficulties, prepare technical findings, and provide engineering-based recommendations for corrective action.
  • Evaluate and optimize machinery systems including conveyor drives, pneumatic controls, water systems, and egg-processing equipment to maintain system performance.
  • Test, calibrate, and validate load cells and measurement systems to ensure accurate system operation and production precision.
  • Design and optimize environmental control systems, including ventilation, lighting, and heating systems, to maintain proper operating conditions within poultry production facilities.
  • Perform other engineering tasks as necessary to ensure optimal performances of all machinery.
