About The Position

The Engineer will be responsible for locating causes of egg processing equipment malfunction, repairing broken parts and engineering preventative activities for both buildings and equipment. In addition, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of egg processing equipment functionality and ensuring all run optimally to minimize downtime. Also, you will maintain all bio-security measures in order to minimize the transfer of disease between poultry locations. As with every role at the Company, other tasks may be necessary as deemed by management.

Requirements

  • An electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, agriculture engineering, or similar degree is required
  • Intermediate English-speaking level or higher.

Nice To Haves

  • Being able to operate skid loader, tractor, forklift, Pick-up truck, and/ or semi-tractor is preferred but not required
  • Perform other engineering tasks as necessary to ensure optimal performances of all machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Apply engineering knowledge to identify and troubleshoot processing issues in highly automated egg production equipment, including grading, washing, drying, candling, and robotic packing systems.
  • Conduct engineering analysis to diagnose equipment inaccuracies or malfunctions and resolve mechanical or electrical issues affecting production operations.
  • Plan, design, and oversee the installation of electrical and mechanical systems to improve production efficiency and operational output.
  • Perform Code 3 (C3) diagnostics and technical evaluations to determine root causes of equipment failures and recommend system modifications, repairs, or component replacements.
  • Investigate equipment failures and operational difficulties, prepare technical findings, and provide engineering-based recommendations for corrective action.
  • Evaluate and optimize machinery systems including conveyor drives, pneumatic controls, water systems, and egg-processing equipment to maintain system performance.
  • Test, calibrate, and validate load cells and measurement systems to ensure accurate system operation and production precision.
  • Design and optimize environmental control systems, including ventilation, lighting, and heating systems, to maintain proper operating conditions within poultry production facilities.
