Engineer-Wet Process Equipment Development

MicronBoise, ID
Hybrid

About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. Develop and sustain first-of-a-kind and legacy unique tools needed to enable DRAM/NAND/EM nodes on tech node cadence by partnering with tool vendors. Develop training programs for next generation equipment. Partner with Process, HVM and Operation team to optimize the hardware to meet performance, cost and environmental sustainability target. Execute against project deliverables - close hardware gaps before transfer to internal customers and drive characterization program of new tools. Learn the “business” – between R&D/Manufacturing/Procurement – and how to manage those relationships and communication effectively to improve Micron’s relationship with suppliers. Be a specialist – internally and externally – collaborating on hardware technology roadmaps, partnering with Pilot Manufacturing to develop internal quality control (SPC) for new process hardware, and understanding the tool interface with the abatement systems, exhausts and drains. Utilize data analytics techniques to ingest large data sets for system monitoring and provide solutions to process and tool margin issues. Drive the installation and upgrades of tools ensuring quality of work, cost control, and alignment to project schedule. Provide hands on equipment support and maintenance for systems under your control. May telecommute part-time.
