About The Position

Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions. This role involves developing and sustaining first-of-a-kind and legacy unique tools to enable DRAM/NAND/EM nodes by partnering with tool vendors. Responsibilities include developing training programs for next-generation equipment, collaborating with Process, HVM, and Operation teams to optimize hardware for performance, cost, and environmental sustainability. The engineer will execute project deliverables, close hardware gaps, drive characterization programs for new tools, and manage relationships with R&D, Manufacturing, and Procurement to improve supplier relations. The position also requires acting as a specialist internally and externally, collaborating on hardware technology roadmaps, partnering with Pilot Manufacturing for internal quality control (SPC) of new process hardware, and understanding tool interfaces with abatement systems, exhausts, and drains. Utilizing data analytics for system monitoring and providing solutions to process and tool margin issues is key. The role also involves driving the installation and upgrades of tools, ensuring quality, cost control, and schedule alignment, and providing hands-on equipment support and maintenance.
