About The Position
Ampcus Inc. is a certified global provider of a broad range of Technology and Business consulting services. We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team. This role is for an Engineer-Transport – IV located in Overland Park, KS.
Requirements
- Experience with backhaul design and management of fiber optic systems and equipment
- Understanding of Telecommunication systems used for circuit inventory, IP assignments, and project management.
- Knowledge of ROAMs and optical transport networks
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of Fujitsu optical transport equipment
- Knowledge of Transport service delivery ordering, provisioning, and service provider process.
Responsibilities
- Research and update paths, segments, and equipment in CND.
- Update and migrate IP assignments in INAM.
- Support migration of numerous circuit paths and connections to a new transport system.
- Complete Backhaul designs in CND, IP assignments in INAN, and work with vendors to support network Growth and modernization in the MTPLs region.
