Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 5 years operational excellence experience OR Bachelor's degree
  • Manufacturing experience

Responsibilities

  • Become an active, influential member of our Focused Improvement component team, driving positive change throughout the organization
  • Develop and nurture problem-solving capabilities at all levels
  • Support implementation of CI projects across all dimensions (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)
  • Coordinate component teams and focused improvement project teams to strategically eliminate losses aligned with organizational goals
  • Help create, sustain, and deliver a multi-year Cost to Win (CTW) portfolio that exceeds goals through strategic savings projects
  • Teach and coach BD Excellence concepts including strategy deployment, core components, Zero Loss mindset and related methodologies/tools
  • Facilitate breakthrough Kaizen events that drive significant operational improvements
  • Support development of zero loss mindset across critical areas to optimize quality, delivery and cost while enhancing safety
  • Develop capabilities through component teams to establish excellence in safety, quality, and reliability
  • Coach and guide project selection process to ensure optimal use of resources on high-priority initiatives
  • Cascade Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) top-down and bottom-up to maintain organizational focus
  • Implement data-driven visual management techniques like Business-Operating-System (BOS) charts to improve critical metrics (OEE, waste reduction, labor productivity)
  • Take an active role in tracking improvements with periodic reporting on completion dates and achieved results
  • Provide valuable input on key plant decisions and resource planning
  • Potentially represent our company to external organizations
  • Execute responsibilities with significant autonomy, requiring minimal day-to-day oversight
  • Set your own work direction and complete tasks independently
  • Directly influence cost, productivity, CtW performance and OPEX budget
