About The Position

The Engineer II is responsible for designing and optimizing processes for large scale manufacturing, planning and testing production methods, and overseeing facility operations. This role involves a combination of research, data analysis, and hands on work to improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in the production of chemical products.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in degree in Engineering or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and simulation software.
• Knowledge of chemical process engineering and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Research and Development: Conduct experiments and analyze data, Develop new products or improve existing ones, Collaborate with cross functional teams
• Process Design and Optimization: Design and plan production processes, Optimize processes for efficiency and cost effectiveness, Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Safety and Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols, Implement and maintain safety procedures, Monitor and mitigate potential environmental impacts
• Quality Control and Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures, Conduct quality assurance testing, Ensure product consistency and quality standards are met
• Project Management: Plan and coordinate projects from conception to completion, Manage timelines and budgets, Communicate with stakeholders and provide project updates
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to colleagues and clients, Troubleshoot technical issues, Train and educate team members on new processes or products
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation, Prepare reports on production processes and results, Present findings and recommendations to management or clients.
