Tavern ResearchChicago, IL
$85,000 - $120,000Onsite

About The Position

This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for an early-career engineer who is eager to make an immediate impact. The Engineer I will be a core builder, translating requirements into working software and understanding the 'why' behind the development. Responsibilities include writing production code, writing tests, and helping features reach completion. The role involves close collaboration with senior engineers for code reviews, challenging thinking, and technical growth support. Specific tasks may include instrumenting experiments for impact measurement, building sentiment-measurement tooling, or improving survey data cross-validation. The position emphasizes in-person collaboration with regular time expected in the Chicago office. Tavern Research is hiring multiple engineers and reviews applications on a rolling basis.
