About The Position

Trinity Life Sciences is seeking an Engagement Manager or Associate Director to join the fast-growing health outcomes research team. This mid-level research position will lead all phases of primary and secondary data research projects in support of health outcomes and larger consulting engagements.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree. PhD in Health Economics and Outcomes Research, Health Outcomes Research, P ublic Health, Health Policy, or Health Services Research preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of health outcomes or public health research experience
  • Hands-on experience with designing observational and experimental studies, design ing questionnaires, data management, data analysis and creation of MS PowerPoint and MS Word reports related to health outcomes research or public health
  • At least 3 years of project and people management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed knowledge of a wide range of health outcomes or public health research methodologies (observational and experimental)
  • Knowledge/experience in a broad range of quantitative and qualitative methodologies e.g., bur den of illness studies, choice expe riments, cohor t stu dies, case -c ontrol studies, use and dev elopment of patie nt reported outcom es scales , prospective studies etc.
  • Experience in lea ding / s upport ing publication e ffort s ( manuscript s , abstracts, poster s , e tc.)
  • Well versed in life sciences industry including global healthcare systems
  • Advanced computer s k ills including E xcel, PowerPoint , and statistical software (e.g., SPSS, SAS, R, Q)
  • Strong study design skills
  • Str ong s urvey / discussion gu ide w rit ing skill s
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong data visualization and slide development skills
  • Solid business acumen and marketing orientation
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to exceed expectations

Responsibilities

  • Lead all phases of research project and analysis, including questionnaire and discussion guide design, data collection oversight ( US and ex- US ), primary and secondary data management , analysis and presentation development, staff assignments and coordination of tasks, etc.
  • Collaborate on consulting projects as assigned and as needed.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the point of contact.
  • Aid in proposal development and study design.
  • Identify sales opportunities with existing clients.
  • Manage, mentor and develop assigned staff.
  • Serve as a point of contact on health outcomes research- related inquiries by internal and external parties
  • Promote the health outcomes research expertise internally
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned
