About The Position

We are partnering with Quant, a global leader in digital transformation and technology solutions, to find an Engagement Director. This role will be based in our Manhattan office and will be responsible for leading the operation of a new network for clearing and settling tokenized deposits across the US, powered by Quant's technology for The Clearing House's On-Chain Money Initiative. The network is slated to launch in the first half of 2027. The Engagement Director will serve as The Clearing House's single point of accountability for contract, commercials, and relationship management, ensuring the outcome of the operation. Reporting to the US COO, this individual will own service levels, the operational roadmap, and the regional P&L, while leading the Heads of Platform Reliability and Security. Key responsibilities include defining and settling how the operation runs and how it is evaluated.

Requirements

• Experience running a delivery operation for a financial institution under a contract with stringent KPIs and SLAs.
• Accountability for a P&L, a headcount plan, and an operating budget, ideally including 24x7 operations.
• Credibility in a room with bank executives and in a room with engineers.
• Real experience of regulated environments: audit trails, examinations, and change control that has been tested by someone external.

Nice To Haves

• Blockchain or distributed ledger exposure.
• Experience in payments, market infrastructure, or transaction banking, particularly real-time payments or high-value clearing.
