About The Position

The Instrumentation Logistician Level II will help procure, organize, and catalogue parts and equipment in support of flight test operations. Work will be completed under the general supervision and mentorship of senior Logisticians.

Requirements

Vocational/technical training beyond high school from an academic institution, or equivalent military training, and 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent hands on experience are required for this position.
Working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
Good communication and analytical skills
Planning/organizational skills
Ability to work under deadlines
Must possess a valid, state issued driver’s license
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Must be a U.S. citizen
Proficient in the use of word processing tools such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and the proper use of email applications
Quality communication skills (both verbal and written) and be able to have efficient interactions with people in various positions
General working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs
Planning/Organizational skills and the ability to work multiple tasks during a given timeframe
Ability to work under deadlines

Responsibilities

Procure parts and equipment following applicable Air Force procedures and documentation
Track and maintain parts stock as needed to meet the immediate needs of Flight Test Modifications and Operational Support
Track statuses of materials throughout the ordering process and provide feedback and statuses to customers and stakeholders
Interact with a variety of entities, including vendors, stakeholders, customers, and supervisors to understand and evaluate the required materials in support of unique tasks
