We are currently recruiting for an Instrumentation Engineer Level II. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Markham, Ontario. Worley is seeking an Intermediate Instrumentation & Controls Engineer in Markham or Kincardine with demonstrated experience in the Ontario nuclear sector (OPG or Bruce Power). You will be supporting complex I&C designs and modifications on major refurbishment and new build projects while upholding Worley’s standards for safety and technical excellence. You will be part of a growing team that is embedded in the transformation of Ontario’s Nuclear fleet, working on critical projects, some of the most ambitious clean energy programs in the world.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of I&C engineering experience in the nuclear industry.
  • Prior experience supporting projects for OPG and/or Bruce Power is required.
  • Familiarity with CSA N285, N286, N299, and related nuclear codes and standards.
  • Proficient with engineering tools like AutoCAD and Aveva or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and client-facing skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Control Systems Engineering.
  • Must have valid OPG and/or Bruce Power project experience.
  • Must be eligible for security clearance at Canadian nuclear facilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Ontario is preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed engineering deliverables including DSDs(Descriptive System Document), loop drawings, instrument specifications, and control narratives.
  • Lead and review design inputs, ensuring alignment with project requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Interface with clients, vendors, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support project execution planning and progress tracking.
  • Participate in field support, testing, and commissioning activities as needed.

Benefits

  • For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $103,261 to $151,854 CAD.
