This role acts as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. The Energy Technician III will install energy efficient equipment, conduct pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. They will provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications, and troubleshoot technical problems and issues, recommending solutions. CLEAResult is looking for talented individuals who are resourceful, resilient, and kind to join their energetic team.
Requirements
- 1-3 Years of experience with relevant industry technical certification/training preferred
- Must be BPI Certified
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support.
- Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct installation of residential energy efficiency upgrades
- Provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
- Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
- Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues.
- Travel throughout a defined territory
