Energy Technician
About The Position
The Energy Technician role involves identifying energy loss in households and advising customers on home energy conservation practices. Key responsibilities include applying various types of insulation in confined spaces, installing and sealing windows, inspecting equipment like furnaces for proper operation, and performing basic carpentry tasks. The position requires the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintain inventory and tools, and travel daily within a seven-county territory. Candidates must also be able to lift 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Teamwork skills
- Valid PA’s driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry, OSHA, and Department of Energy certifications within six months of hire
- Ability to work out of either warehouse location (Lewisburg or Lewistown)
