The Energy Manager - Americas will be part of the Global Energy and Utilities team, playing a critical role within the Global Engineering and Property Services Organization, working as a hybrid employee. This role will help shape the Global Energy and Utilities Strategy, which aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions and reliance on public utilities. The position is responsible for working with a broad group of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the Americas' portion of the global Energy and Utilities strategy. This includes mobilizing and leading teams to deliver capital projects that reduce the company’s use of water, electricity, and gas while reducing carbon emissions. The role also involves building content and delivering training to operating site leaders and stakeholders to integrate energy conservation into their operating rhythms, conducting on-site energy audits to identify opportunities, and building and delivering presentations for funding and program updates. The Energy Manager will also maintain project updates in the company's project tracker, ensure utility bills are paid on time, consolidate regional project opportunities, and communicate the 'art of the possible' to drive support for energy projects. Additionally, the role supports the editing and retention of the Energy Treasure Hunt platform, prepares content and presentations for opportunity identification, reports on energy consumption and costs, monitors utility contracts, supports the development and deployment of an energy playbook, assists with energy Capex & Opex budgets, and supports 3- and 5-year carbon reduction goal planning.
