Operations Manager - Americas
About The Position
LiveU is the global leader in live video contribution and remote production solutions for broadcast, sports, and enterprise. Our cloud-based platform and patented bonding technology power live coverage for the world’s top broadcasters, sports leagues, and digital media organizations. We are growing fast, and we are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Americas Revenue team. LiveU is seeking an experienced Americas Operations Manager to lead all operational activities across the Americas region, our largest and most strategic market. Reporting directly to the VP Global Operations, based at LiveU’s global headquarters, this role serves as the operational leader for the Americas region and a key member of the global operations management team and a member in Americas management team. The position is responsible for regional fulfillment, inventory management, logistics, repair operations, and customer-facing operational support. It serves as a key partner to Sales Leadership, ensuring successful execution of customer commitments, strategic opportunities, major events, and business growth initiatives. The successful candidate will lead a regional operations team, manage external service providers, and drive operational excellence while maintaining a hands-on approach when needed. The Americas region represents LiveU’s largest market and customer base. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth while serving as the senior operational leader for the region. The position offers significant visibility across the organization and close collaboration with global leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of operations leadership experience
- Proven experience leading customer-facing operations organizations in technology, telecommunications, networking, enterprise hardware, media technology, or related industries
- Strong background in fulfillment, inventory management, logistics, and operational execution.
- Experience managing teams and third-party service providers
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational involvement
- Willing to travel to subcontractor locations locally - approximately 30 -90 minutes away depending on your location
Responsibilities
- Lead all operational activities across the Americas region.
- Own fulfillment performance, inventory availability, logistics execution, and customer delivery.
- Manage a team including Technical Engineering, Supply Chain Planning, and Logistics functions, as well as offshore operational support resources.
- Manage third-party repair and refurbishment partners.
- Partner closely with Sales Leadership to support customer opportunities, deployments, escalations, and major events.
- Monitor operational performance, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as the primary operational leader for the Americas region.
