About The Position

ARCXIS is hiring an already certified Energy Code Compliance (ECC) Rater or a candidate with the experience and aptitude to train for certification ahead of increased summer work. ECC raters test HVAC systems according to California Title 24 guidelines and must be certified by one of the state registries. The company is willing to train a suitable candidate who is prepared to study and become certified. HERS raters receive schedules from the office and work from home, traveling to sites to perform HVAC testing and submitting reports through the company’s web portal. The position involves multiple inspections each day and may require driving 80–120 miles per day. ARCXIS provides an auto allowance to help cover maintenance costs and a fuel card for company-related travel. Hiring is contingent on eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available. Compensation during training is $22.00–$23.00 per hour, increasing to up to $26.00 per hour after 90 days, subject to a performance review. A $500 bonus is offered after six months of employment.
