Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's in IT or related field
  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
  • Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Perform patch management and security update operations support to maintain operating environment compliance.
  • Perform patch and security update deployment testing and maintain the customer patch File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site.
  • Operate and maintain MS Enterprise Configuration Manager (MECM) instances and manage infrastructure patching.
  • Oversee more than 45 MECM servers across all enclaves supporting updates and security for over 10,000 Windows servers and workstations.
  • Provide antivirus support and guidance and perform remediation for compliance, vulnerability management, anti-virus protection, and patching.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and engineer updates for all automated environments using DoS-approved automation tools, such as Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Puppet, or other DoS-approved solutions.
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and engineer updates on the Red Hat Satellite System management platform to deploy, provision, patch, and manage thousands of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems across hybrid cloud environments from a single management point with full life cycle management.
  • Comply with DoS rules and regulations governing patch and security update operations.
  • Develop and maintain Endpoint Management / Patch administration SOPs for the customer IT service delivery processes aligned with the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework and DoS standards.
  • Update SOPs to reflect modernization initiatives and emerging technologies.
