The Endpoint Lifecycle Management Specialist provides administrative and analytical support, under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Information Officer, for lifecycle management of university-funded computers serving faculty, staff, and designated classroom and lab areas. The position maintains accurate computer inventory and asset records; tracks equipment from request through deployment, reassignment, retirement, and surplus; coordinates upgrades and replacements with campus departments and asset deployment teams; and collects, validates, and organizes data for chargeback billing and program reporting. The specialist also coordinates cellphone and mobile-device purchases and related records, works with auxiliary and self-support groups, and prepares annual memoranda of understanding and associated charges. The position develops and manages communications used to receive, route, and track requests from the campus community. It works with multiple data sources and systems, follows established procedures, exercises independent judgment to resolve routine discrepancies, and escalates complex issues as needed. This is a full-time, non-exempt position that leads toward permanent status after successful completion of a probationary period. The position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
