About The Position

The Endoscopy Nurse delivers safe, effective, quality, and patient- and family-centered care in the Endoscopy unit across all patient populations. The role provides holistic, systematic, and therapeutic care; incorporates individual differences; and uses nursing knowledge, skills, and experience to meet patient and family needs throughout the continuum of care, including education. The nurse uses established standards, guidelines, protocols, or pathways; uses data and information to continually improve care and practice; administers medications according to standard nursing practice; and takes responsibility for professional self-development.

Requirements

• Graduate of a school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of acute hospital care experience.
• Registered Nursing License.
• BLS obtained within 90 days of hire or transfer.
• ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• One year of hospital stepdown experience preferred.
• CNOR or SGRN certification.
