About The Position

Ambulatory Registered Nurses provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting. They record patient histories, perform diagnostic tests, administer medications, and develop patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals. They assist physicians during examinations and procedures, operating and monitoring medical equipment as necessary.

This position is in the Ambulatory Surgery Center at St. Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois. The schedule is day shift, working 10-hour days with variable start times as early as 6 a.m. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
• Be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. In Wisconsin, RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
