About The Position

OrthoCarolina is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) OR Circulator for its Matthews or University locations. The nurse provides orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care, coordinates the telephone pre-admission assessment process for ASC patients, and supports day-to-day ASC operations. The role requires teamwork and cross-training in other primary areas, including assisting with turnover. The nurse is expected to uphold OrthoCarolina’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service, and Community. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available. Shifts normally occur within the 5:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. hour structure.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College, or University.
• Current North Carolina registered nurse license/registration.
• At least two years of experience; the posting specifies ambulatory experience as required and OR Circulator experience as required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care.
• Ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment and cross-train in other primary areas.
• Experience delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams.

Nice To Haves

• Ambulatory experience is preferred.
