Ambulatory Surgery Center Registered Nurse
About The Position
OrthoCarolina is seeking an ASC Registered Nurse (RN) to join its surgery center team at locations in Matthews and the University area. The RN exemplifies the organization’s values of Quality, Teamwork, Service, and Community, and demonstrates technical expertise in orthopedic peri-operative nursing and clinical care. The role also coordinates the telephone pre-admission assessment process for patients in the ASC environment. The RN works as a team member in an ambulatory surgery center, cross-training in other primary areas and supporting day-to-day operations, including assisting with turnover. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available. Shifts fall within the 5:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. operating hours.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, College, or University.
- Current North Carolina license or registration as a Registered Nurse.
- At least two years of ambulatory experience.
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ASC environment and cross-train to other primary areas.
- Experience delivering excellent service to physicians and patients and participating in high-performing teams.
Nice To Haves
- Ambulatory experience is preferred.
- PACU experience is preferred.
