About The Position
Western Dental/Brident is seeking a skilled and experienced dental assistant to work in its specialty department assisting the endodontist. The role is intended for a motivated self-starter interested in professional growth and contributing to quality patient care and a positive team environment. The position may suit candidates with varying levels of experience in the health industry, provided they meet the stated qualifications.
Requirements
- Completion of a dental assistant program.
- Current X-ray license.
- Current CPR card.
- Back-office dental assisting experience in a specialty, specifically endodontics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Ability to travel to additional dental offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance.
- Perform sterilization.
- Complete endodontic/periodontal probe charting and review consent forms.
- Set up and break down endodontic rooms and trays.
- Place and remove rubber dams.
- Maintain inventory of endodontic files, rotary instruments, and other instruments.
