About The Position
Western Dental/Brident is seeking a highly skilled and experienced dental assistant to work in its specialty department assisting the endodontist. The role is presented as an opportunity to join a fun, friendly, and professional team and to pursue professional growth while supporting quality patient care.
Requirements
- Completion of a dental assistant program.
- A current X-ray license.
- A current CPR card.
- Back-office dental assisting experience in a specialty, specifically endodontics.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel to additional dental offices as needed.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance.
- Perform sterilization.
- Complete endodontic/periodontal probe charting and review consent forms.
- Set up and break down endodontic rooms and trays.
- Place and remove rubber dams.
- Manage endodontic file, rotary, and instrument inventory.
