About The Position

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated End User Computing Manager to lead and coordinate the implementation and optimization of advanced network solutions for a mission-critical enterprise IT environment. This position will support our MAJESTIC Joint Program Office (JPO) Team and requires an experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure architecture and security compliance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing full lifecycle IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and deployments. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure that all project deliverables align with business objectives and that requirements are met on time, within scope, and within budget. All work must be performed on-site in Springfield, VA.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure architecture and security compliance.
  • Proven track record in managing full lifecycle IT infrastructure projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and deployments.
  • Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Experience maintaining smooth operation of local area, worldwide and virtual private networks (VPN).
  • Experience planning, evaluating, and coordinating installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
  • Technical expertise in network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
  • Experience preparing network documentation, including operational instructions.
  • Experience with regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains smooth operation of local area, worldwide and virtual private networks (VPN).
  • Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
  • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
  • May propose solutions to management to ensure all communications requirements based on future needs and current usage, configuring such solutions to optimize cost savings.
  • Prepares or ensures that appropriate network documentation exists, including operational instructions.
  • Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.
