About The Position

EMTs provide safe transportation and quality medical care to sick and injured individuals within the scope of state EMS regulations. Superior Ambulance Service provides emergency and scheduled medical transports. This role is based in Menomonee Falls; openings are also available in Oshkosh, Kaukauna, Milwaukee, Mount Pleasant, Fond Du Lac, Green Bay, Madison, Kenosha, Oak Creek, Burlington, Janesville, and Elkhorn.

Requirements

• Hold NREMT certification or a current state license, or have one pending.
• Be able to provide medical care at the EMT or Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
• Have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, and be able to safely operate a vehicle in daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather.
• Pass a pre-employment interview, physical and lifting examination, and drug screening.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care within EMT training.
• Transport patients safely and efficiently, including reading maps and correctly identifying street names, house numbers, and business addresses.
• Assess patients appropriately and accurately communicate their condition to other medical professionals.
• Prepare accurate written reports describing patients' conditions, medical histories, and treatment provided.
• Provide appropriate documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor fluid levels and gauges.
