We are an elective surgical focused hospital that performs over 12,000 procedures per year. FACTS ABOUT NORTH CENTRAL: Opened in 2005, 14 Operating Rooms and 30 Medical/Surgical Patient Rooms. We are conveniently located at Walnut Hill & I 75 in the prestigious North Park area. Specialties include Orthopedics, Spine, General Surgery, Pain Management, Urology, GI/Endoscopy, Plastic, Podiatry and Bariatric surgeries. Managed by United Surgical Partners International. Joint Commission Accredited. We are currently seeking an EMT/Patient Care Tech to join our Emergency Department team.
Requirements
- EMT certification
- Patient Care Technician certification
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Provides basic nursing assistant care to our Emergency Department patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Clinical Director
- Authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of performing patient care duties within the scope of practice
