About The Position

AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance. EMTs deliver high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients, and work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs. The role also includes participating in community programs to support AMR’s image and build strong community relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State EMT license.
• State driver’s license.
• BLS and NREMT.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass a Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

• Related experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate EMT skills, communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools to provide care.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and applicable traffic laws for emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR’s image and establish strong community relations.
