About The Position

AMR is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts, often scheduled at night and on weekends and holidays. The hourly range is $19.29–$30.86, with starting pay at $19.29 per hour and credit given for experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Colorado EMT certification.
Current CPR/BLS certification from the AHA or Red Cross.
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Driving record compliant with company policies.
Successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

Nice To Haves

NREMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
Use appropriate EMT skills and equipment, including communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools.
Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws applicable to emergency medical response vehicles.
Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.
