About The Position

AMR is hiring full-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for medical assistance and provide patients with high-quality care, treatment, and customer service. EMTs assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment. Starting pay is $19.00 per hour and may be higher based on years of experience; the listed pay range is $19.00–$23.25 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State driver’s license.
• State EMT certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass the Physical Ability Test (PAT).

Nice To Haves

• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine necessary care, and deliver emergency services using appropriate medical techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information, condition, and treatment while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills, communications, medical equipment, cleaning procedures, office equipment, and tools to provide care.
• Operate an ambulance in accordance with company safety policies and traffic laws governing emergency medical response vehicles.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with allied health and public safety personnel and fellow EMTs.
