About The Position

This is an opportunity to enroll in the EMS Training Academy in Savannah, GA, with Central EMS, a part of the Priority Ambulance Family of Companies. The program is designed to transform a passion for helping others into a rewarding career in emergency medicine. Graduates will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, hands-on skills, and real-world experience to become certified EMT-Bs. Upon successful completion and licensure, graduates are offered a full-time EMT-B position with Central EMS, requiring a minimum 24-month commitment.

Requirements

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid Class C driver’s license
• Pass a pre-employment interview
• Pass pre-employment testing (FISDAP Exam)
• Pass a background check (including Motor Vehicle Record screening)
• Pass a drug screening

Responsibilities

• Attend all classes, labs, and clinical rotations.
• Promptly test for NREMT within 1 week of course completion.
• Commit to working for Central EMS in a full-time position for at least 2 years after acquiring state licensure.
