About The Position
This role is responsible for providing EMS education. The work schedule is per diem hours as needed, with typical hours from 8 AM to 4 PM on Monday through Friday, and some evening hours available. The position is located at UW Health Swedish American Hospital. Additional compensation components may include evening, night, and weekend shift differentials, overtime, and on-call pay.
Requirements
- At least two years field experience in Emergency Services.
- Bi-annual CPR certification.
- Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois.
- Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, Basic Life Support Instructor.
