San Diego’s St. Paul's PACE program (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly). This innovative program is for individuals 55 years or older, who are living with chronic illness, or disabilities and need coordinated medical care to continue living as independently as possible in their home and community. The healthcare teams at St. Paul’s PACE provide a hands-on approach coordinating medical, social, and home care services so individuals no longer need to manage their medical care alone. The EMR Trainer will be responsible for providing education, guidance, coaching and training to individuals, groups, and/or outside business partners on the use of EMR and other computer systems, and applications across the St. Paul’s enterprise. This position will provide application support to multiple care settings and disciplines, including but not limited to end user application use, application testing, and the support of build activities identified during performance and change management assessments. Training sessions will consist of classroom settings, one on one education, electronic coaching and remote training webinars. Some general in-services to departments may also be necessary to meet training objectives. With your effective training curriculum, you will help maintain consistency of application charting in clinical and service areas and help facilitate the competency of the application(s) across both clinical and non-clinical departments. You will also help facilitate the implementation process of clinical systems in conjunction with designated super-users and project team leads.
