About The Position

Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) is seeking a dedicated Employment Transition Manager to guide, support, and advocate for service members, veterans, and their families as they pursue civilian employment. The role provides personalized career services, connects clients with resources, and builds relationships with employer partners to expand hiring opportunities.

The manager supports clients individually with resumes, interview preparation, job-search strategies, and employment-barrier guidance. The position also involves maintaining case documentation in Salesforce and staying connected with clients after training. In addition, the manager engages employers and the community by promoting job opportunities, advocating for client placement, representing OJRV at hiring events and community meetings, and maintaining outreach and employer data.

Responsibilities

• Help clients develop effective civilian and federal resumes, prepare for interviews, and build job-search strategies.
• Identify employment barriers and provide personalized guidance and referrals to supportive services.
• Track client progress and maintain accurate case documentation using Salesforce.
• Stay connected with clients after training to encourage lasting success.
• Partner with employers to promote job opportunities and advocate for client placement.
• Represent OJRV at hiring events and community meetings.
• Share client resumes and facilitate introductions to potential employers.
• Keep employer and outreach data organized and up to date.
