Vocational Services Employment Specialist IV

About The Position

The Employment Specialist IV helps individuals receiving behavioral health services find and maintain meaningful employment. The role works one-on-one with job seekers to identify career goals and strengths, supports job searches and preparation, and provides coaching before, during, and after job placement. It also builds relationships with local employers, connects participants with community resources, collaborates with healthcare providers and community partners, tracks participant progress, and advocates for inclusive employment opportunities throughout Washington County, Maine.

Requirements

Master's degree in education, counseling, or social services, or a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in vocational counseling or rehabilitation.
Current Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and/or IPS Skills Practitioner Certification, or ability to obtain certification within one year of hire.
Five years of experience in a related field.
