About The Position
Tressler is seeking an Employment/Litigation Associate to join its Irvine, California office. The firm’s Employment/Litigation Group handles complex insurance claims analysis and represents clients in high-stakes litigation. The role is hybrid and is suited to a candidate passionate about delivering exceptional legal services; a book of business is not required. The associate will oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage cases from intake through settlement or trial. The position also involves developing litigation strategies and budgets, conducting and defending depositions, arguing dispositive motions, advising clients on business, professional liability, and employment disputes, negotiating and drafting settlement agreements, and contributing to marketing and business development efforts. Requirements
- Active California bar license.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- One year of litigation experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
- Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Assist with marketing and business development to drive firm growth and strengthen client relationships.
