About The Position
Tressler is seeking an Insurance Coverage attorney to join its Irvine, California office as an Associate. The role is part of the firm’s Employment/Litigation Group, which handles complex insurance claims analysis and represents clients in high-stakes litigation. The candidate should be passionate about delivering exceptional legal services; a book of business is not required. The position is hybrid.
Requirements
- Active California bar license.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Five years of Insurance Coverage experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional writing, organizational, and advocacy skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex insurance coverage litigation and manage multiple cases from intake through settlement or trial.
- Develop and implement litigation strategies and budgets.
- Conduct and defend depositions and argue dispositive motions.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients in business, professional liability, and employment disputes.
- Negotiate and draft settlement agreements.
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts to drive firm growth and strengthen client relationships.
