About The Position

ElevenLabs is hiring its first Employee Relations Partner to help build a dedicated ER function as the company scales from 1,000 to 4,000 employees across more than 50 countries. The role owns sensitive and complex People cases and supports fair, consistent, and trusted processes for performance, conflict, and change. The ER Partner will lead formal performance processes, investigations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and exits from start to finish, working closely with Leads, People Partners, Legal, and outside counsel across jurisdictions. The role also involves coaching leads before issues become formal cases and converting case experience into scalable playbooks, frameworks, training, triage processes, and measurement.

Requirements

  • Strong judgment and ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion, clarity, and fairness.
  • Working knowledge of employment law principles and comfort working alongside in-house and outside counsel.
  • Skill in writing clear, defensible documentation and coaching leads through difficult conversations.
  • Ability to move quickly and stay agile as cases and business priorities change, without losing rigor.
  • Comfort building processes as well as managing cases while the ER function is being established.

  • Partner with in-house employment counsel and, when necessary, outside counsel to assess risk.
  • Triage incoming cases with People Partners using clear escalation criteria.
  • Maintain the case log and report patterns, risks, and trends by team, region, and case type.
  • Build playbooks, templates, and training to raise lead capability and reduce avoidable cases.
  • Build a self-serve ER flow for leads so common ER cases can be handled at scale.
  • Partner with People Ops and Compliance to support terminations, local requirements, and compliance-heavy workflows.
  • Coach leads through difficult conversations before issues become formal cases.
