About The Position

Employee Health Nurse (RN/LVN) Registered Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse. This is a Part-Time position (0.4 FTE) with 8-hour shifts, starting at 0730. The role requires working two days a week from Monday to Friday. The Employee Health Nurse will plan, develop, implement, and evaluate activities relating to the Employee Health Program (EHP) to provide high-quality and cost-effective employee health and wellness services to volunteers, employees, and physicians. This includes coordinating the Employee Health Program and the Workers’ Compensation Program in accordance with Community Medical Center, local, state, and federal regulations and recommendations. The position is vital in supporting the well-being of employees so they can provide exceptional care to others, contributing to the mission of making communities healthier.

Requirements

Current state RN license or LPN license
Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school
BLS for Healthcare Provider within three (3) months of hire
Three (3) years Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, ICU, and/or Public Health experience
Familiarity with regulations/accrediting agencies in Employee Health, Worker’s Compensation, and Safety (OSHA, NIOSH, MT Safety Culture Act, FMLA/ADA reasonable accommodations).

Nice To Haves

Five (5) years Medical/Surgical, Emergency Department, ICU, and/or Public Health experience

Responsibilities
