About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is seeking an Employee Health & Benefits Intern to join their EH&B team. This internship offers a comprehensive program providing real-world business, risk management, and insurance experience. Interns will gain an understanding of client support in a consulting capacity and play an integral role in the client service process. The program focuses on building a solid foundation for Client Management or Sales career pathways within the insurance industry, offering insight into various areas and acting as a springboard for full-time careers.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a degree in Communication, Business Management, Finance, Marketing, Entrepreneurship or a related field.
• Must be detailed and organized with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work on a team as well as individually.
• Must conduct self professionally; have the ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management, employees, and peers.
• Proficiency in MS office applications required.

Responsibilities

• Prepping and assembling meeting preparation materials
• Peer reviewing carrier and client deliverables
• Supporting the client service team by supporting project management
• Helping prepare enrollment materials
• Attending industry education sessions
• Participating in intern challenges
• Shadowing client meetings
