The Division of Student Affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a collaborative and service-oriented HR professional to serve as a trusted partner to employees and supervisors across assigned departments. In this dynamic role, you will be the primary point of contact for a broad range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance support, policy interpretation, and employee engagement. You will help foster a positive and flourishing workplace culture by championing employee well-being, inclusion, recognition, and professional success while ensuring employees have access to the resources and support they need to thrive. In addition to providing consultative HR support, this position plays a key role in supporting departmental operations through personnel funding management, financial reconciliations, expense monitoring, and compliance-related activities. Working closely with leaders, employees, and campus partners, you will contribute to a high-quality candidate and employee experience, promote effective workplace practices, and support the Division of Student Affairs' commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where employees can do their best work in service of UW–Madison students.
