About The Position

We are seeking an energetic and creative Employee Engagement Coordinator to join our HR team at Kidco. In this role, you will be instrumental in cultivating a positive work environment and driving innovative engagement initiatives that connect our people with our company culture. You will collaborate closely with the HR team, supervisors, and managers to develop and execute programs that enhance employee satisfaction, celebrate achievements, and create positive work experiences at Kidco.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Certificate in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in roles such as Administration, Event Planning, or similar, with a focus on employee engagement, event planning, and managing internal communication and recognition programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in ADP, MS Office Suite, and familiarity with HRIS platforms is an asset.

Nice To Haves

  • Work experience in the construction industry is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate orientation programs that introduce company policies, culture, and procedures—including benefits, RRSP details, and more.
  • Manage the company communication platform to ensure effective information dissemination.
  • Coordinate the creation and distribution of the company newsletter, keeping employees updated on news, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee the organization’s social media presence to enhance employer branding and attract new talent.
  • Organize and manage social events (e.g., annual Christmas parties, children’s events) that boost employee engagement and morale.
  • Develop and implement programs to recognize and reward employee achievements, such as service awards and milestone celebrations.
  • Foster a culture of appreciation and acknowledgment.
  • Oversee the “Kidco Store” (or similar incentive program) to ensure a variety of appealing reward options for employees.
